Building Self-Esteem Online

We love in-person learning sessions, however, the reality is that it is often not possible. Our recent evening programme on empowering self-esteem brought together close to 80 migrant domestic workers from the Filipino, Indonesian, and Nepali communities, through facilitated exercises that helped clarify self-esteem, recognize what might diminish it in daily life, and establish actionable steps to strengthen it.

Not only were we able to deliver this session with participants who were dialing in on their own, but to residents at the #BethuneHouse Migrant Women's Refuge in Hong Kong, underlining the importance of learning and the power that technology can bring.

Thank you to Mission for Migrant Workers Johannie Tong and Joy Prim for the invitation to Next Chapters to deliver this exciting session! #nextchaptersorg#mfmw#selfesteem#virtuallearning
