Learning Outside of the Classroom:

Practical Ideas for Young Learners

Practical Ideas for Young Learners is a workshop with nearly 100 different activities that focus on early childhood development. It aims to equip parents with the necessary skills to support their child’s development in literacy, numeracy, and visual and social awareness, in resourceful and creative ways, such as utilizing items around the house to facilitate learning.

We challenge parents to think outside of the box by asking questions such as What can we use instead of What can we buy?

What you will learn

Creatively utilizing everyday items around the house to facilitate children’s learning, setting goals for children, and making learning fun.
