The Right to Rest

Numbers of migrant domestic workers from Indonesia and the Philippines are being denied their regular activities on their intended day off due to the recent virus outbreak. Keeping cooped up inside despite being legally entitled to 1 day off per week is wearing away at relationships between domestic workers and their employers.


In these trying times in Hong Kong, it is vital that everyone receives the breaks they are entitled to. We all need our time to mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually regroup and nourish ourselves, no matter what is happening outside.
